Post-Christmas shopping

I went to see what’s so special about these post-Christmas sales. I didn’t find any bargins that I needed or wanted. I already bought everything I needed before Christmas!

I made a new discovery today. I discovered a men’s concealer at Clinique. 1g costs $32. That’s not too bad. I like how they only have two shades; one light to fair and one medium to dark. It’s simple, isn’t it? I’ve added this to my wishlist. I think I might buy it early next year

Christmas is tomorrow

That’s right, Christmas is tomorrow. I’m waiting for my inbox and my mobile phone to be flooded with text messages.

Out shopping for myself

I went on a little shopping spree today. I bought things I only needed. I spent a total of AU$274.88, and I don’t even have a job. It was fun shopping; I found clothes that actually fit me Here’s a list of what I bought:

• 6 t-shirts and 1 polo shirt;
• A pair of shoes;
• Two pairs of jeans
• Phone credit
• Subway (yes, I include food eaten too)

And that’s it. I went to various stores, including discount stores.

I didn’t buy anything from Myer or David Jones. $274 at Myer or David Jones? Last time, I managed to purchase five clothing items for that price. I’m tired of shopping at Myer and David Jones now, which is a good thing, so I can save money.

Santa arrested

First, eBay kidnapped Santa and then released him; now Santa has been arrested by the imperial stormtroopers.

New board skin in development

For the last two days, I have been developing a new skin for the forums. Recently, I have installed Photoshop CS2 on my computer, so I can now work on my ’stuff’ or projects. It keeps me busy.

I’m trying to make a skin that matches with my personal website. Yes, there will be orange, but also most of it will be in shades of grey. I’ve got a few more editing to do on the CSS file.

I’m still spending a lot of time on the graphics. It’s not going to ‘blow you away’ – not that kind of graphics. I’ve been spending most of my time experimenting on colours which can be a real pain. Is/are the colours too dark or too light? What size should the buttons be? What font face should I use? I have decided to stick with Invision Power’s designs. I’m not in a creative mood.

After of this, I’m going to test the skin out by myself. Don’t mind me if I create rubbish posts

Website Update

I have Photoshop CS2 installed on my computer, finally. I have been able to greatly enhance my website’s “skin”. I have also updated my Wishlist page – it is now using tables and looks A LOT better. My website looked crap before and now it’s looking better. I’m able to experiment with colours, which is great. The main colour for the personal site will still be in orange and will always be, forever.

Birthday soon

My birthday is coming up very soon. It’s just going to be another day. My friends are urging me to go out and celebrate. What’s the big deal? I haven’t hosted my birthday party in about 13-14 years, so this may be the reason why I don’t take my birthdays seriously?
