Review: High Quality and Small Plastic Travel Bottles at PlasticTravelBottles.com

Sunday, September 20th, 2009. Posted in Advertising, Reviews | 1 Comment »

These high quality plastic travel bottles are recommended to every traveller. I purchased seven 90 millimetres (ml) / 3 ounce (oz) bottles, and I am very happy with my purchase.

PlasticTravelBottles.com is a company based in Singapore. I believe this company is associated with a company called Vodien that provides Internet (web hosting) services.

The bottles are cheap. The prices start from 96 cents (USD). I spent a few days looking for travel sized bottles in stores (not online). If I did not come across PlasticTravelBottles.com, I was expected to pay a minimum $2.20 (USD) for a 50 ml plastic bottle.

The bottles are leak proof. My toiletries bag was upside down, on its side and on a weird angle during the 500 kilometre (310 miles) road trip. Not a single bottle leaked its contents because the lids are well secured into its position.

Two useful measurement scales (in millimetres) are present on the bottles. In addition, the bottles are not made from hard plastic; they are squeezable bottles.

Overall, the service is outstanding. The website has a clean user-friendly and attractive interface, making it easy to navigate. Customer service is excellent. The shipping price and bottle prices are cheap.  I highly recommend shopping at PlasticTravelBottles.com!

Saturday, September 19th, 2009. Posted in General | No Comments »

We (students) left Adelaide on 14 September 2009 and returned on 19 September 2009. We spent four days collecting field data. Below are some sample photographs of the field trip. These photographs were taken in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. Our study site was located in Oratunga that is near Blinman (about 500 km from Adelaide).

Cost of camp gear

Friday, September 11th, 2009. Posted in General | No Comments »

I just did a calculation … and it appears that I spent $1200 (AUD) on my camp gear. I was expecting myself to spend around $500. This is my first camp, so I bought new outdoor clothing etc.
